TRIVIA: The Second City was advertised in the background of Chapter 15! I kept it subtle, but it’s there, lurking, waiting for it’s plot point to come about!

oh my!!!
Just say “This is a wonderful opportunity, would you mind if I think about it and talk with my family about it?” Because this isn’t something you just blindly say yes OR no to. And hopefully, boss should understand it. Because it does sound like something he likes, he is passionate about plants, as seen before. He’s just also passionate about other things people haven’t noticed yet.
TAKE IT!!!
Maybe this will be perfect and Abeille will be able to come too and advance in the gardener profession…?
This is exactly what i thought as well since he can build a team
Mere coincidence, or is Mr. Supervisor trying to reestablish his workaholism? Best course is to be honest and say “no thank you, I have a girlfriend here now.”
Well…. can he get someone else a job there as well?
It was clear before that his boss had something going on, but now it’s looking even more like he has an inappropriate thing for Miel. I can’t imagine this is going anywhere good. :/
I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking that. It’s such an uncomfortable situation to be in, since his boss is clearly in the wrong for trying to manipulate him through the chain of command, but Miel might feel pressured into complying anyway if he feels like his job is at risk.
Does anyone else suspect that his supervisor might have a thing for him and is rather trying to keep his focus more on him, and more work is just a convenient way to do that, or is it just me? 🙂
Not just you. >>
Definitely what I thought. Especially his wording. WE? As my dad always used to say: what’s this we bullsh–? Ya got a turd in ur pocket?
Supervisor seems jealous to the max. Miel really needs to say he needs to discuss and talk this over with his family. Great deal or not moving is a big decision! Especially if he is finally getting some better work-life balance habbits.
Bosses like these are known to be hard on their superstar workers–the latter do good work for the former and make them and the company look good. Bosses LOVE hardworking employees who have no social life, who come in early and stay late, who bring in results and don’t complain. For so long Mr. Arcier has seen Miel as JUST a worker, and that’s so damaging to a person’s growth.
