Can I just say, I’ve always loved this comic. But I used to question if it was possible for human cultures to decide physical contact was taboo. In covid era though? This premise feels soooo much more feasible.
RIGHT????? It’s been super weird to go from sci-fi story element that makes a statement about something but which seems far removed from actual existence to my actual irl life of just never touching anyone now. Or even seeing them without a mask in person and six feet of distance.

Oh gosh, this is so true! This story went from “well that’s a weird future taboo” to “I can totally see us being this way from now on.”
Haah something else to focus on, besides the physical contact itself!
