I feel for Ivy right now. Family can be stressful, especially when you were hoping for some peace and quiet away from them. I’ve been living with my in-law’s since September since my husband and I were saving up for a down payment on a house. All I’ve wanted for months now is a quiet, clean house and more time to ourselves. Thankfully, we’re closing on a house this month. Just two more weeks and then I can regain my sanity.
I’m curious who invited/slipped to Vee where they were going. Or if she just knew because she wasn’t going to be home for the holiday and mom complained.
Also, I love both their outfits, I would be willing to wear Vee’s dress, if it was a little longer, and I hate wearing dresses.
I have a question about their relationship. I can’t settle on my interpretation if Ivy and her boys are turning into a type of polyamourous realtionship or if it’s like a romantic relationship with a freind triangle. Anyone what to share their thoughts?
I got a new perspective on what relationships can be because of this story and some stories on filthyfigments. Gina’s bedposts is a good example. There are several. For Ivy, Holly and Aster, they are friends first and solidly so, I think.
Holly appears to be ok with whatever happens. They are sensitive about any jealousy or hurt feelings between each other and they are gentle and consensual. And they are sensitive about comfort levels with touch.
Holly and Ivy holding hands while Ivy and Aster are romantically touching says a lot, to me. On earth where we have much have more restrictive taboos, Holly what have to cope with society conditioning him to see himself as a cuckold, which paints women as property and relationships like a prison.
Ivy and Aster have both left it as an option that Holly could be more intimate. Maybe they will be, maybe not, either way team Ivy is an enviable relationship, to me.
I worry about labels because I think people label themselves to convey who they are or how their relationships are. I don’t think labels define how people can be.
It’s polyamory, although it’s unclear yet whether they’re a triad. Ivy and Aster like each other romantically and so do Ivy and Holly. Aster and Holly seem to be just friends (or metamours if you wanna get technical), but that may change as the series progresses. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got together as well.
My read is: They both love her and they really like each other. There’s definitely a vibe of them both making her happy in many ways and being happy that the other one does as well.
Their loves are of different fragrances. Holly-Ivy had a long cohabitation and, I think, see each other as irremovable parts of their lives, their love is steady, gentle and everpresent. Ivy-Aster is a fresh love of excitement, fascination and discovery.
The Aster-Holly relationship definitely has potential to be love, but I think it would take its sweet time to bloom and even longer before either realises it, because of his cautiousness and zir respect for boundaries.

Whoa! Aster is so pretty!
Oh, wow, that is a sudden color palette change and I am *here* for it, haha~
You know what rhymes with Vee? Bad. F**kin. Penny.

Just a friendly reminder that one of Ivy’s partners in nonbinary. There’s only one boy in the trio.
