That means nothing. There’s probably more arranged around the sides of the spa pool that we can’t see. Set decorations, essentially, and not necessarily an indicator that there’s going to be an (unwelcome) visit by Ivy’s sister. IRL, those things are set all over the place around pools and such for whoever wants to use them.
That is brilliant and makes sense, even though I’m invested in team Ivy being those 3. I would love to see Holly being persuaded by V, consensually. There’s a sketch of V persuading, on Patreon, incidentally. Mostly, I want Ivy and Verbena to be happy sisters together. I’m weirdly not angry at Vera like I am about Amaryllis…
Yes, I like Holly with Ivy and Aster. I do feel bad for Verbena though, she seems to feel her mom is using her but is willing to be used for a chance to interact with her mom. I hope she finds a healthy relationship but I don’t think Holly is it. I don’t really believe her that this isn’t about Ivy. She should find somebody new who pays attention to her and wants to go in a positive life direction with her.
Most likely because Ivy and Verbena are equals. They have conflict, but there isn’t any abuse of power going on. Plus V is quite open about being a pain, while Amaryllis camouflages her meanness under a cover of parental care and love
I don’t only because of Holly. I think it would be good for Verbena and Ivy’s relationship as it might be an equalizer of feelings of deserving and validation, but Holly might feel in the middle due to their history and maybe even like another source of their emotional tug of war. Holly has been lied to, used and assaulted by Verbena and I don’t think anyone deserves a second chance as a partner of romance after that, even if forgiveness is given in other ways to smooth out sibling dynamics. Holly can have a different opinion on if he WANTS to give it, but never if he feels obligated. V can have growth but still have consequences of her bad behavior. Heck, I’d argue her greatest growth would be accepting she lost Holly due to her behavior more than Ivy’s perceived “specialness”. I really don’t want to see Holly “be the bigger man” in the situation just to show romance as a bandaid to the sisters. I want the sisters to be the healing factor, and if more time is spent together without animosity and that love between the girls leads to Holly feeling more secure in it than okay, I guess, but I hope he puts boundaries upfront, all cards on the table like when the triad forms.
My eye is twitching about fixnum chances for girlfriend applicant. But, I think I agree, overall. I’m partly shocked at the prospect of Ivy and Holly splitting and overcompensating. I read Verbena presenting the case for her and Holly, to Ivy, as a mean spirited joke. But she could have genuine feelings for Holly that could include sexual interest.
Holly could just be being a pliant pup in giving in to Verbena and not really have anything there. I agree that the sisters resolving things is the major theme for me.
Healthy representation for relationships in general, I think. I want the world to read it.
It’s tough to get past the label and the image of polyamory. That’s why I cringe a little. Polyamory as a standard relationship contract is pretty terrifying. I’m so used to relationships being a contract. If you agree you’re stuck. But, that’s not how love works.
If you love someone you set them free. You don’t love anyone who you own. Still, jealousy is normal. Boundaries are needed, even when your ideal is tolerant. How Tulip relates to Poppy is natural, I think.
Aster and Holly are such dears, subtly working together to cheer Ivy up like that.
I see 4 deck chairs.

Well, the set decorator probably does not work all that independently from Gina…
I still want to see Vee and Holly get together. We can all tell by now that she is going through some character development.

Nice save, gentlemen.
er… Aster isn’t male. But agreed, good save
I love the healthy poly representation! There’s not enough examples of healthy triads so this is amazing to see!
