Got sick again earlier this week, but feeling recovered thankfully! Here’s the new Love Not Found page! Looks like we’re making time for models!

Ahhhhhh!! I love it! Ivy taking time to go out on her own, and Aster and Holly get to bond! I really can’t wait to see how their relationship grows.
Hmm. I’ve found myself wanting to say boy time, but Aster is gender neutral. F&F hanging out = girl time, M&M = boy time. Is there a gender neutral version? Just hangout time maybe? Bonding time? I dunno!
How about geek time?
It might not need to be said, but there are a lot of geeks who are not boys. So, perfect.
Exactly. I consider this a gender neutral term and used it as such.
Aster ain’t a boy but zie is a geek
metamour time? Tho that kinda depends on if Aster and Holly are dating each other or not. (metamour being not dating each other.)
Ooh. Thanks so much for that word! Geek time applies too.
I love how delighted Ivy looks.
Based on how slow Holly is with relationshipping (and how gentle and non-pushy Aster is), they are not dating right now. This might be the situation that brings them closer to it if they find each other to fit, or just explore and consider that possibility and explain why not.
I mean, currently they are not dating because not enough time has passed for it to be possible with their temperaments. It seems they are on their way to transition to either:
Dating
Not Dating Because It’s Just Not Their Chemistry With Each Other But Being Better Friends.
I think intimacy is new to Holly and understanding his feelings about Ivy, too. Since sex is mundane the parts of sex that are weird is the touching part, not the sexual arousal part.
Like me when my girlfriend went to an orgy, I think Holly would have nothing but Ivy in his head. Lots more remains to change in their relationship before it would be stable and fulfilling. This development is exciting, but I don’t need them to be having genital contact for it to be a solid relationship.
lol, I never went past handholding in my speculation of them becoming a Dating.
That would be a nice evolution of the last panel: https://lovenotfound.com/comic/ch16-p59/
Meanwhie I’m thinking about their segment on this art https://lovenotfound.com/comic/guest-art-anna-savio/
I hated “male bonding”, and generally disliked being in a group of boys. So, I don’t know if there is something like I imagine girl time to be, for trans-femme people or femme non-binary people. I really really really wish I could have girl time, but maybe I never will.
Non-binary probably covers a vast and widely diverse culture. To me, gender has profound significance. I have an image of what “the feminine” is. I’m almost completely at a loss as to what “the masculine” is. I doubt it’s monster trucks, or abusive behavior, and hopefully we’re not just breeding stock. So, girl time makes sense to me. I would hope natural boy time would not be like male bonding that I’ve seen, but I’m not cisgender so, it could be beyond me to know.
My attempts to interact with other trans women did not go well. I feel like I could talk to trans men that I’ve had superficial interactions with. In my opinion, we are all queer, including queer people who are cisgender/agender heterosexual or asexual, and we could have queer time. But, of course, some people dislike that word. There are trans women who consider themselves the real transgender people, vs. lesser people like me. So, it’s tough.
I’m sorry you haven’t had good interactions with trans women and that you sound like you want girl time, but haven’t found the right gals to hangout with yet. I’m sure you will someday. 🙂
Tbh I’m on the ace spectrum so really my girl time (hanging out with my female friends) consists mostly of watching silly anime and talking about feelings. Honestly it’s pretty normal friend stuff. Not painting nails, makeup, hair, boys, etc. Though with my close friend we talk about trashy romance novels because they are hilarious.
As for boy time. Usually I imagine that to be more of what my husband and his friends do. Build things, computer stuff, gaming (though usually I’m gaming with him), and sports, not so much the talking about sex stuff? Though I’m sure they probably do to some extent because of guy culture.
Oof, that’s not at all what I picture “girl time” to be. As a kid I hung out with a group of girls, one of whom I had a crush on. We had slumber parties. It was ok that we cared about each other, compared to boys where I was always expected to joke about how we don’t care about each other. It turned she thought I was gay. So, once I told her how I felt about her, I no longer had girl friends… cry. I felt completely comfortable with them.
About boys, there is only one time that a guy had “locker room” talk and the rest of us were completely shocked and that guy didn’t come back. So, I don’t think that is what boy time is. Respect is owed but trust is earned. There is still no reason why I would be interesting to be around. So it’s not girls’ fault that I’m not trusted.
Maybe we should scrap “boy time” and “girl time” and just sort them by activity/theme?
Spa time, nerd time, gossip time, music time, vent time, beauty time, sportswatching time, etc…?
Woooow that’s so simple I’m not sure how I missed it. I think you’re 100% right on this one. 🙂
Going by that logic: nerd time, ship time, or craft time all seem to work pretty well here! 😀
Thank you. This exactly.
I hope she has some amicable conversations with certain sister…
Somehow I suspect that if she returned and found an enthusiastic Aster, Holly, and Verbena covered in glue, she’s be less than amicable about it…
but I mean, they are gonna geek in this room, she is going out and I wonder if she meets her sister for a further conversation.
How lovely! Aster and Holly can build a stronger foundation for their relationship while Ivy gets some “me time” on her vacation. 🙂
Maybe they can finally “connect” and “stick” more together
Part of me wonders… if he acquired the kit a long while ago, and brings it on “every” vacation, will the included adhesives (mentioned in the previous update) still be any good?
Either “futuristic adhesive” or they will improvise.
I can hear some collector screaming “Open it? NOOO!!! It’s mint in the package!”
Also really wonder what it’s a model of. This culture doesn’t seem to be the type that would make military kits and I doubt there’s much fetishizing of civilian transport vehicles (ie cars), but maybe there’s a market for aircraft or spacecraft kits? Or historical stuff with the more awful aspects played down – sailing ships, perhaps? Or something purely scifi I’m not thinking of – xenobiology kits? They’d probably be a thing, and things like current-day human anatomy kits would be the equivalent for nonhuman modelers.
Thankfully this seems like a decidedly un-grim un-dark far future , so Games Workshop’s overpriced garbage is no doubt a historical footnote and best forgotten altogether.
Mechas are pretty popular…there hasn’t been a clear pic though. I’ve seen cool models with critters that show the different systems (like grasshoppers, with a digestive system, respiratory, etc.). Maybe it’s something historical, like pre-space-flight vehicles?
(also Aster is adorable with how excited zie is.)
Neo-natal-nurses, action figures.
Yes, Aster is adorable, in panel 4 in particular, and also Ivy and Holly.
I absolutely adore how excited Aster is on this page. They just look so earnest and dear!
Agreed! They are absolutely precious!
good, let’s get some metamour time
Aster is such a cinnamon roll. <3
Yeah Aster & Holly time!!!
anybody else experiencing issues reaching the blissverse site? I can’t get beyond the age check even though I’m checking the yes box, it reloads to the same page everytime (and yes I’m 18+, I’m 26 in fact)
Thank you for mentioning it.
I can’t access it either.
Issue resolved! I couldn’t get Age Gate plugin to work, so I installed a new, simpler one for now.
Holly’s face…especially in panel three, shows so well what he was talking about earlier with Verbena. He’s so used to thinking of himself as the “boring old man” in the relationship, and comparing himself and his interests to “bright young things” Ivy and Aster, who by comparison seem more adventurous, and…he finds it hard to believe that either of them would find an activity he picked interesting. And especially interesting enough to choose over their more “exciting” existing plans.
I wonder how much of Holly’s feeling “old” and “boring” is a recent(ish) development versus past experience–we don’t really know much, if anything, about Holly’s family, or his life before Ivy, other than that he buried himself in his work.
