I think she just spotted Ivy walking and went to line up to the same attraction as her.
Ivy does not have a habit of concealing her presence, which is kind of healthy and I’m envious
I feel like it’s not communication skills, it’s a manipulation tactic. Verbena can send a text and get left on read until Ivy is ready to talk to her. Ivy isn’t obligated to listen to her any more than anyone is to listen to someone they don’t want to face let alone get trapped in a small space with.
I was trying something out to make the hand stand out in the crowd by using a gradient effect.
Might not have worked as hoped and ended up being confusing. Looks more like Ivy’s skin tone.
I will probably need to go in and edit that before it eventually goes to print.
Ivy and Verbena’s outfits are always so good. I love the little touch that both sisters wear bright eyeshadow that’s the same color as their dress. It’s a tiny detail that makes them look related even though they look very different and have very different styles. (Also? Verbena looks really good in orange and blue. In other chapters, she wore lots of green, their mom’s preferred colors…)
Why are people mad at Ivy? (Svaejat, Wren) It’s Verbena who engineered the situation so she’s cornered Ivy and made her endure her presence at least for a short time. We as readers might suspect that she wants to have a genuine conversation, but given that this is Ivy’s VACATION, with the people she’s in a relationship with, and her sister, who has caused relationship problems for her before, randomly showed up, it’s perfectly reasonable for Ivy to be annoyed at Verbena for ignoring boundaries.
Yeah I think people think that just because us readers have seen the vulnerable side of Verbena, doesn’t me her sister has yet. I am going to hold my breath. I don’t ever expect them to fully reconcile by the end of this series, but at least come to an understanding.
OMG IVY STAHP
Who called it? I called it!
Yes, you really Roes to the occasion. 🙂
Pass my coat, I’ll be leaving now.
Eli…
How the hell does Verbena always show up? Does she have a tracking device on Ivy or something?

We all saw this coming. Ivy, chill darling, it’s gonna be okay.
The long shot in panel 1 is lovely. Verbena has my communication skills. Trap the person in a booth so they will hear me.
It could be good though. Verbena seems pretty interested in talking to her sister, through out the story. I’m always happy to see her.

Figured this would happen and I’m still mad at Ivy for it regardless. *facepalms*
Uh… why did her hand change colors between panels 3 and 4?
