Well, I’ve been keeping busy. Homeschooling during a pandemic while working from home, fulfilling a Kickstarter… and now I bought a house! What was I thinking?! LOL Seriously, tho, I love it! Lots of work ahead to get us moved in between everything, but it will be an awesome end result!
RE: COMIC PAGES — I’ve finished fleshing out storyline beats for the series and have started writing the script for Love Not Found chapter 21 this week! The cover art has been completed and is looking pretty spiffy! Lots of flowers! Everything is coming along well and I should be back with comic page updates soon! I will announce exact dates when I get closer to completing the script!
I created this video to give you a small inside look at the remastering work I did as I prepared Love Not Found volume 2 for print.
The biggest change was the word bubbles. Reworking the lettering and placement of the bubbles created consistency and harmony throughout the book which I think you will enjoy. There were several scenes where more color was brought in to the backgrounds and it would lift the whole scene… Give it ambiance. Flashbacks to Abeille’s icy homeworld, for instance, were switched to blue to reflect the cold planet and melancholy memories. Slightly more dramatic edits to the art helped make actions more clear.
