On a side note, thanks so much for your patience last week, LNF Buds. Turns out I was having a multiple day migraine last week. It kinda kicked my butt, but feeling better this week and back on top of things!

    Just noticed that while Abeille and her dad have main black colors, and Amaryllis only has black accents, both her and her mom have the same lipstick. Maybe it’s just artists taste but idk, I like thinking about small subtle details in colors and design. I wonder if it has some meaning?

      Ooooooh that *is* intriguing. This is supposedly a memorial and an opportunity to process grief further, maybe it’s indicating that Abeille and her dad are truly there to grieve while mom has another agenda and is only using grief as a pretense!

    Narcissistic , toxic parents don’t change. Hope you’re not going to feed the lie that the scapegoat child is supposed to rise above the past and engage with her parent and just obey them? That lie could cause harm to a reader who is struggling with her/his own toxic parent

    I’m surprised they got out of the restaurant without Amaryllis trying to stick Abeille with the bill or something! Just makes the suspense even worse as we wait to find out what horrible nonsense Amaryllis has planned for a finale!
