I absolutely understand the desire to not let a toxic parent mess things up when you’re having a good time, but Abeille, sweetie, you need to communicate with your partner or this could come back to bite you. He’s met your mom, it’s not like he’s going to think you’re a jerk for sending her to voicemail.
I agree, it seems like Abeille tries very hard to not make her problems be other people’s problems. That could be a good trait, but it’s almost like not trusting Miel here.
