Amaryllis is proving herself as a Demeterian mother, wanting to keep Abeille close by while running her family’s lives by her terms at all costs, lest she takes the whole world down with her. While I understand about Abeille’s avoidance with her mother, she’s not really resolving anything with dodging any contact with Amaryllis either. Abeille needs to counter Amaryllis’ hovering demeanour with a stronger argument point or a form of action that says that she is in charge of her own life now.
At least she wasn’t actually being woken up by Amaryllis. It kills me how she hides her worries. Maybe she’s about to talk about it though. It’s admirable that she doesn’t depend on people that way. It’s admirable that Miel hasn’t been interrogating her. But, I imagine that he and her other friends want to support her emotionally.
