Past the wild emotions, maybe Abeille could’ve call back to her Dad at least; It wouldn’t have been the worst idea to do. If to only reiterate what her plans were to her mother in an indirect way. Abrielle should be able to still talk with Mallow at least, if not with Amaryllis, with the way of their relationship are right now.
For anyone keeping score (which is probably no one), Mallow did mention earlier in this chapter that Abeille was probably out having fun with her friends, which now sounds an awful lot like Amaryllis was told and conveniently forgot.
