  1. I know this world already had some exceptions that allowed touching, but I still wonder: has the *culture* loosened up any, about touching, I mean, or is it that their garden is sufficiently remote from the most intolerant people, that they can have a ‘safe space,’ or is it something else, that I’ve forgotton, or that I’m overlooking?

  2. Who’s Mela, have we met her before? So glad Clove and Botan are doing well!

    1. Seems like Mela is Clove and Botan’s child! So nice to learn a little more about how their story goes.

    2. Maybe she’s adopted? I know that they’re both male, reproductive-wise. Unless there’s some future tech where a couple of any gender-variation can get a baby produced when they want to start a family. Ivy mention some references about that in an earlier chapter.

  3. @Jua I am guessing that their nursery and garden is sufficiently remote that touch isn’t as big an issue there. Of course families touching their children is still completely normal and expected, it is adults touching each other that is an anomaly. ^_^ I am still only guessing, but I think Botan and Clove would be comfortable touching if they are alone/ around those who they know are okay with touch.

  4. Aaaa!!! Soooo cute!

  5. Aaah! So adorable! So happy for Clove & Botan. Is their kiddo named Mela as in gumamela, the Filipino name for hibiscus?

    1. Ah, thank you! <3 I chose Mela for it's Italian meaning of "Apple" for... reasons. ^_~

  6. What a lovely planet, I’d move there right now if I could. Yay! for Clove, Botan and Mela. I hope that we get to see Ivy, Holly, Aster, Poppy and Tulip too. I loved this comic and look forward to your future work, thank you.

  7. What kid didn’t love being held up on daddy’s shoulders hehe? So cute! When I took a college education course literally on Play, I learned about the person who created Kindergarten, which is German for Children Garden. The creator felt it was important for kids to learn by doing things, ideally in a garden setting. Just wanted to mention that because this page reminded me of it.

    1. That’s lovely!

  8. I just noticed – Clove doesn’t have his big audio device. So either tech has evolved to the point where he has a smaller device or he’s become comfortable enough that he no longer needs it. I love his and Botan’s little family! :’)

  9. Curious if the other child (orange hair) is also Clove and Botan’s child. Or a unrelated child all together. The orange seems to match Clove’s hair.
