Her tears seem to be honest and in the moment. I take it as that her crying doesn’t make her vulnerable. She is so strong that she can be open about her emotions, and that gives no one control over her. Or, that’s one of my pet theories or blind spots.
I am so glad to see more casual contact. I hope that Abeille and her group become a beacon of a counter culture movement that destigmatizes physical contact. And that she blows up at her mom, leading her to fully go no-contact, and her dad to divorce the witch.
